Man Kicked Off Nature Preserve Trying to Bait Bigfoot Dallas Observer
Lawmen refuse to identify a man trespassed from property along the Sabine River near Mineola, TX. The man was reported to have placed some steak, nuts and orange slices on the top of his Toyota and along the treeline to lure North America's most famous cryptid out of hiding. The Bigfoot hunter was armed only with a camera and apparently had targeted the area after having heard reports of Bigfoot sightings around Mineola. Also, Loren Coleman, having received a tip from a reader of Cryptomundo, reveals the upcoming release of a movie based on the book The Long Walk, the true story of an escape from a Soviet gulag and the tortuous journey the escapees made seeking freedom. The controversial book made the claim the escapees had encountered the Abominable Snowman while making their way over the Himalayas, a claim detailed by Coleman and Patrick Huyghe in their 1999 book The Field Guide to Bigfoot and Other Mystery Primates. That brings up Coleman's question, The Way Back: Will Yetis Be Scene Stealers? With images. Meanwhile, remarks made on Britain's famed BBC Monday, December 13, 2010, have sparked new dialogue over another world-famous cryptid, as noted in Debate Over Loch Ness Monster Flares Up Again.
