Seeing Red Giants TPOD
In today's maverick science offerings: Consensus astronomers, having observed red giant stars exhibiting unexplained variations in luminosity, say "all possible explanations...fail." That's not so, says Mel Acheson. According to Acheson, consensus astronomers are refusing to listen to explanations from those who dissent with the consensus, such as the Electric Universe theorists. Can electric currents in space explain the behavior of red giant stars that is anomalous to consensus astronomers? Elsewhere, the now ubiquitous laser will celebrate its 50th anniversary next year, and scientists are hard at work to give the extremely useful tool another job that might have significance for everyone, as explained in Miracle Light: Can Lasers Solve the Energy Crisis? Meanwhile, much has been made of the recent story of satellite images revealing an ancient city submerged in the Caribbean Sea, prompting the original source of the news report to say Herald de Paris Makes "Atlantis" Claims? Look Again.
