A ranch owner watched a black mountain lion for more than 10 minutes in the foothills near Dublin in Alameda County, California. The pelt of a black mountain lion has never been recovered by officials. Elsewhere, a Cryptomundo correspondent shares a report on Riverside’s Melanistic Panther.

Elsewhere, in The Chesapeake Bay Monster, a look back at some reports of a long, snake like creature in the waters of the largest estuary in United States. And another look back at a watery monster, in Mystery Still Engulfs Lake Worth Monster
