Trinidad Rancher Finds Mutilated Cow The Pueblo Chieftain

A rancher in Colorado found the mutilated remains of one of his livestock Sunday, noting the surgical precision with which the cow's udder and reproductive organs had been removed. There was no blood at the scene, located near Weston, CO, along the banks of the Purgatoire River. Rancher Mike Duran is no stranger to the mysterious mutilation incidents across the Western United States, having had a cow mutilated in the exact manner, in the same pasture, in 1995.
