Mr Davy's Monster Cryptozoology Online
In 1878 a London naturalist who worked at the London Aquarium stopped traffic and jammed streets while he paraded his new "pet," which he had purchased from locals in southern France. Apparently no anatomist could identify the beast, which was described as two-feet in length, and standing two-feet at the shoulder, its body covered in wiry hairs, its head and tail resembled that of a boar, but it seemed bereft of an abdomen, and its back legs seemingly situated right behind its forelegs! No one knows what became of Mr Davy’s "demon."
