Monsterquest was great tonight, about the Legends of the Hairy Beast or Hairy Man, with several Northern Californian Native Americans who described sightings and also their legends, including of the Mayak' Datat' of the Yurok Tribe, which Kathy Strain has been looking into for many years (she was also on the episode to discuss her impressions and the history of the Hairy Man), along with the Pictographs of the Mayak' Datat". John Freitas is interviewed about a 2001 encounter he and James "Bobo" Fay had where Fay had a sighting of a Bigfoot. Fay and Cliff Barackman are interviewed on their impressions and thoughts on the Northern California sightings, as well as going on expedition where they go out on the Klamath River in a boat doing call-blasting, as well as following an expedition in the Suattle River Valley in Washington State with Dr. Briggs Hall and Bill Evans where they set up gamecams and some bait in a tree 12 feet high. There are also some sound recordings analyzed and one of them seems to be quite intriguing to the analyst. Over on Bigfoot Live, Several guests were on to discuss various sightings and also about their research into it, as well as announcements about the upcoming expedition to Bluff Creek by Bigfoot Inc. in September where Bob Heironimus and Sean Fries will be participating. The highlight of the night was the fellows from Bigfoottracker.com Rick Dyer and Gary, who took some terrific questions from the chat and also from some callers, and there were several of those.
