In an episode of his Tales of the Weird, Mike Conley relates the details of William Roe's 1957 affidavit to Canadian authorities outlining his strange experience on Micah Mountain near the town of Tete Jaune Cache in British Columbia, Canada. According to Roe's sworn statement, he sat twenty feet away from a female Bigfoot-like creature and observed it for some time before it discovered his presence. There's a Russian version of Sasquatch, too, and the Centre for Fortean Zoology (CFZ) has a team ready to go investigate, as Nick Redfern reports in Tomorrow: The CFZ Quest for the Almasty Begins, with video report link, and follows up with a report of the perils the CFZ team could face in The Hazards of Monster-Hunting. Perhaps the next time the CFZ hits the cryptid trail, they'll take the lead of The Paranormal Pastor and trek to Africa's Burkina Faso to creep up on the cryptid known as The Creature in the Black Ravine. Meanwhile, big cat sightings and other evidence of large felids continues in the United Kingdom, as evidenced in Big Cat on the Prowl at Westhill and Was This Paw-print Left by a Tiger?
