Professor Grover S. Krantz passed away of pancreatic cancer at his home in Port Angeles, Washington. Krantz was one of the few scientists willing to study the elusive and controversial subject of Sasquatch, and wrote or co-wrote several books on the subject. He had many footprint casts in his lab, most of which were given to Dr. Jeff Meldrum and reside in his lab at Idaho State University. After Dr. Krantz's death at age 70, his body was donated to the University of Tennessee, and his skeleton was donated to the Smithsonian. His Irish wolfhounds' skeletons are also housed with him at the Smithsonian. I salute Dr. Krantz today and every day.
