From Chinameca, Mexico, reports of a four-limbed monster that is terrorizing villagers and killing livestock. First seen by children and then by others in the following days, the monster was last seen submerging into the local river, which forced police to tell bathers to vacate the area. Police have been called in on other sightings as well but have been unable to capture or identify the mysterious creature. Residents remain on edge since the last sighting. And on the cryptozoological entertainment front, several posts from Cryptomundo: Fred Olen Ray Jumps Into The Bigfoot Movie Craze With “Sasquatch vs Chupacabra”, Two New Clips From Jordan Blum’s Bigfoot Horror, ‘Savage’, The Brand-New Teaser Trailer For Brian Jaynes ‘Boggy Creek’, New Evidence Of "The Bloody Rage Of Bigfoot", and Baroque Bigfoot (May 1st).

From the southern part of western Siberia comes the report of a hunter who claims that his rescue of a Yeti during a spring flood on the mountainous river of Kabyrza was witnessed by local residents. Hearing a piercing shriek, the hunter saw “a creature, covered with dark-brown fur” in the river some ten metres from the bank. When the hunter than threw the creature the dry tree trunk, the creature clutched to it and crawled to the bank. Reptilian encounters reported by a former New Orleans police officer reveals a twist with bizarre phone calls in an update to the mystery. The random calls, sometimes sexual in nature, are being received by "Matt", his business associates, and family. Stranger still is that the phone calls and texts seem to be coming from the lines, not the phones themselves, often displaying odd eleven digit numbers. Similar to the experiencers in North Port and Punta Gorda, who have also reported odd phone harassing and dead air calls, the officer seems to think things are beginning to escalate since investigating the sightings of the winged ETs. "I have to report this activity. If it is a precursor to my disappearance or death, I want it to be on record." Elsewhere, Pennsylvania MUFON State Director John Ventre claims that his daughter has experienced multiple entities in his home. Unable to fall asleep and possessing the distinct feeling of being watched Ventre's daughter relays a terrifying encounter that has left them looking for answers. Details at MUFON state director relays home encounter with multiple entities.

Stemming from a Mothman film recently aired on SyFy channel, some "new" old material resurfaces. The original article, which was printed around the time of the original Mark Pellington Mothman film, merges fact and fantasy and exaggerates the influence of some minor ufological hoaxing by Gary Barker. Loren Coleman tries to clear up the Mothman story. Also on Cryptomundo, Second Komodo Dragon Relative Discovered This Month! and The Legend Of Boggy Creek.

A newly released government document indicates that the police chief of Inverness-shire believed that the existence of a Loch Ness monster was "beyond doubt", but he doubted that the police could do anything to protect the creature from a group of hunters who were having a special harpoon gun made and were planning to return with 20 "experienced men" to track the monster down. With comments by Loren Coleman in the Christian Science Monitor's version of the story: Loch Ness monster is real: former Scottish police chief. Elsewhere, a sea serpent seen off the coast of California in 1907 raises the question What Would You Do, If You Saw A Sea Serpent?

Loren Coleman, following the announcement by D. B. Donlon that he will be exiting the Bigfoot research field that produced his popular The Blogsquatcher weblog, studies the reasons some people have chosen to abandon the mystifying study of the big hairy humanoid. Noting the researchers who have left the field due to their demise, such as Mac Tonnies, author of The Cryptoterrestrials, and college professor Grover Krantz, PhD, Coleman points out there are several former Bigfoot researchers who just decided to give it all up for various reasons. With images. Elsewhere, a purloined monster finds its way home in Eva Ruth Moravec's news report saying Chupacabras Hard to Find, Unless You're at El Mercado.
