Nite Callers Tomorrow...

Laurie, Lauren and Luke welcome Pennsylvania researcher Dave Dragosin to the show, 7:00 EST/6:00 Central. And as always, we encourage you to please tune in and support great research.
The continuing war of words over the bones of Homo floresiensis has a new salvo due out next month that supports the contention they are the bones of a separate hominid species that lived concurrently with modern humans. Will this evidence finally silence those who have been trying to debunk the existence of the "Hobbits"? Meanwhile, Brent Swancer writes of the "ningyo," the legendary mermaids of Japan, in Japanese FeeJee Mermaids - Part I, and there's some positive news concerning one of the latest additions to the storefronts of Portland, ME, reported in Maine Office of Tourism Features Cryptozooology.
Reliability in Old Reports The Blogsquatcher
A researcher into the Bigfoot phenomenon, and the oft-reported case where UFOs and Bigfoot appeared almost simultaneously, gives several examples of reports that meet the critical parameters that make him believe the story, as well as those that don't. In each case the researcher, the Blogsquatcher himself, goes to great lengths to point out what makes these tales believable...or unbelievable. Meanwhile, a very useful sidebar provides a chronological series of articles from the files at this cryptozoological website that often digresses to consider other cases of high strangeness.
78-year-old Russ Sittloh of Madeira Beach, FL, says a "serpent-like" creature "at least 20 feet long" is occupying the canal behind his home. And he has photos and video to prove the creature's existence. Dubbed "Normandy Nessy" by Sittloh in honor of the road he lives on, the creature has been spotted six times. With photos and video. There's more video with Sittloh and his neighbors discussing the creature in Man Says Serpent in Florida Canal. Elsewhere, Cryptomundo has a report of a living fossil in First Baby Coelacanth Photos Taken.
Could a baboon spotted crossing a Tampa area street in Florida be the same animal photographed in a Tampa tree a few days ago? Hillsborough County law enforcement officers are trying to get to the bottom of the sightings, alarmed that a wild simian could be making its way through crowded neighborhoods full of children. With photos. Elsewhere, the dreaded creature from Latin American legend gets the once over from Dale Drinnon, with images, in Looking at the Chupacabra (Part One) and Part Two.

Category: Paranormal

Call-in Number: (646) 595-4292

Please join your hosts Bob Coyne and Mike Killen as we welcome Sasquatch sighting eyewitness Ted to the show. Ted has been an avid outdoorsman his whole life and lived in upstate NY for more than 30 years. He was a New York State licenced fishing and hiking guide for 10 years and has had encounters with a number of different animals, including Sasquatch, in the many years he's spent exploring the forests. If you can, please join us in our live show chat. It's always a lot of fun and we love to interact live with our listeners. And as always, we encourage you to please tune in and support great research.
Photos accompany the story from Australia about the accidental shooting of an out-of-place pygmy hippopotamus by a hunter who mistook the animal for a very large wild hog. Two news stories describe the event, both noting that the animal, a native of Liberia and Nigeria in Africa, may have escaped five years ago from a wildlife sanctuary located 50 kilometers from the site where it was killed. But what about the other strange animals reportedly seen in the same area over the years? Meanwhile, a Florida news story makes its way to Cryptomundo in Mystery Cryptid Pic From Tampa. Elsewhere, reports of snakes reaching fantastic dimensions in the regions of the Amazonian jungles of South America continue to make the news, as seen in a November 13, 2009, newspaper report from Peru, translated at Bigsnakes.net: Giant Boa Frightens Villagers.
Television reporter Chris Papst interviews several Wisconsin residents who claim to have seen a towering creature, all covered with hair and sporting a wolflike visage. Among those Papst interviewed is Linda Godfrey, author of The Beast of Bray Road, who has been researching the reports of the creature or similar creatures for over 17 years. Video of an interview with Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources worker Steve Krueger, who had an encounter in November of 2006, is linked. Elsewhere, a different creature from a different state is the subject of Mothman's Legend Lives On.

Sasquatch Watch Radio Tomorrow...

Billy and Mike have Dave from Central Virginia as the guest, 9:00 EST/8:00 Central. And as always, we encourage you to please tune in and support great research.

Reviews: Blog Talk Radio Bigfoot Shows 11/10-11/15-09

On Bigfoot Quest, the guest was Dave Sidoti from Florida, and he was a good one, talking about activity in Florida as well as his theories on Bigfoot. Diane Stocking called in and talked to Dave about his activity and her friendship with him. Dunno what Bob and Mike have planned for this week, but it begins at 9:00 EST/8:00 Central.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Sasquatch Experience was great this week, with guest Donna Cohrs, who discussed activity in Florida as well as some of her theories on Sasquatch and also her sightings through night-vision equipment that she has had, as well as answering questions from the chat. This week, Sean and I will focus on Pennsylvania with guests (hopefully) Eric Altman and Stan Gordon, 9:00 EST/8:00 Central.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
On Larry Battson's Wild World, he had two witnesses, Griz and another gentleman whose name escapes me at the moment, who talked about multiple sightings in Washington State as well as vocalizations and strange smells which may have been Sasquatch-related. This week, Larry has Rupert from Survivor on the show, 11:00 EST/10:00 Central.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

HBM's was fair to good, with Bill and I discussing the events of 2009, including the Massacre Nonsense, notable passings in Cryptozoology, events in the year 2009 and other news. Jordan Warner and Darin Richardson called in and discussed various things that they are involved with. Bill and I are back in February, once bi-monthly, on Sundays at 9:30 EST/8:30 Central.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Nite Callers was wonderful, with guest Autumn Williams, who discussed her theories and research into Sasquatch in Oregon, as well as making some great points about how people try to fit Bigfoot into their own preconceived notions and how we do not know everything about Bigfoot. She also talked about long-term witnesses (AKA habituators) and how she has worked with them. Several folks called in, including Mike Hall, doing an impersonation of George W. Bush, as well as a fellow named Richard and Bill and myself, who asked various questions, and also Jimmy Williams who took an amazing video near Noxie, Oklahoma which could show a 'Squatch popping its shoulder. Next week, Laurie, Lauren and Luke have Dave Dragosin as the guest, 7:00 EST/6:00 Central. And as always, we encourage you to please tune in and support great research.
