Review: Beyond The Edge Radio 3-7-08

This was a great show, with Georgia paranormalist Joey Ward, who discussed his experiences with ghosts and the paranormal, as well as his investigations into that activity. He also discussed a bit about Bigfoot and how it might tie into the paranormal and might be more to it than is thought. Scott Hackenslash provided movie news and reviews on the new DVD Eastern Promises which Viggo Mortensen and Naomi Watts, as well as a sneak peek at the upcoming Incredible Hulk film starring Edward Norton as Bruce Banner. It was a great show. Next week, Eric and Sean will have the Squatch Detective Steve Kulls and founder of Sasquatch Watch of Virginia Billy Willard beginning at 9:00 EST/8:00 Central at http://www.blogtalkradio.com/beyondtheedgeradio Past episodes can be downloaded at the site, as well as through iTunes. Due to the bad weather and potentially frozen roads, I have decided not to go with M.K. tomorrow to the Mississippi Meeting due to the weather. Disappointing, to be sure, but I will get over it. Safety is more important at this point. Maybe next time.

Review: The Sasquatch Triangle 3-6-08

This was an absolutely EXCELLENT show, with Dr. John Bindernagel, who discussed his research and his dilemma as a Wildlife Biologist in discussing the Sasquatch with his colleagues, his possible sighting and video footage (which he really could not get much into because it was actually part of a project of a group on the East Coast of the U.S.), his experiences with tracks and other topics. He also discussed his upcoming book (which has no title yet, but is expected in the late-Summer or Fall), and also how he feels about his first book North America's Great Ape: The Sasquatch (he feels very good about it). Don also announced towards the end of the show that he and several Ohio researchers finished filming today some scenes for an upcoming episode of Monsterquest, which will debut its second season sometime this Summer on the History Channel. Next week, Don has Sonya Horstman and Janice Newell beginning at 9:00 EST/8:00 Central at http://www.blogtalkradio.com/sasquatchexperience You can also download past episodes of the Sasquatch Experience and the Sasquatch Triangle there from the beginning, as well as subscribe through iTunes. Review: Destination Truth 3-5-08

This was a rather interesting show on the Yeti, which takes place in the Himalayas, with Josh Gates and his team doing an investigation of the area for the hairy hominoid. Josh and the team talk to a group of villagers about possible sightings, and are directed to the village elder, who claimed a recent encounter. Josh and the team investigate the area to search for evidence. They are using night-vision equipment and FLIR (Forward-Looking InfraRed) to search for possible evidence or even an encounter. They find a cave of some sort, with some large droppings, which are of unknown origin but could indicate a large animal of some sort. Josh crawls into the small cave to see if there could be anything in there, but only finds an old coat. The team is heading to Everest for a further search. The team finds out about possible Yeti remains in a temple, but are denied access to it by the monks. They do get to see the purported Yeti scalp in another temple or monastery, and they also find some strange footprints and hairs. They cast the tracks and head back to the U.S. and present the track cast to Dr. Jeff Meldrum, who is cautiously optimistic about the footprint but finds no evidence of fakery or explanations of it being from a known animal. All in all, a very interesting and compelling program. I would give it about 3 1/2 out of 5 stars.
'Panther' a Feral Pest Hawkesbury Gazette
A large black "cat-like" creature has been spotted several times in the Hawkesbury area of Australia causing some residents to fear for the safety of their children. "It's obious there's more than one of these creatures and they seem to be tracking along the creeks. If it's not a panther it's something that looks like a panther." What is this feline-like animal alarming the residents of Hawkesbury? With photos, audio and video.

Stephen Wagner laments that the increasing number of host hunter organizations and increased number of scientists investigating ghosts, as well as new and more sophisticated ghost hunting equipment, have not advanced our understanding of what ghosts are. Review: Let's Talk Bigfoot 3-5-08

This was a great show, with Illinois researcher Stan Courtney, who discussed such things as his vocal encounters with possible Sasquatches, his recording of different vocalizations, his research in Idaho and Illinois and other topics. He is doing something called 48 In '08 where he goes to different states to research, hoping to get to all 48 states all during 2008. I called in and asked Stan about the Rich Lamonica Ohio Talker tape, and he responded that he basically did not have anything to compare it to, so he was unsure on it. All in all, a great show. Next week, Teresa and Kathy will have on Bob and Jim Zenor who post on Bigfoot Forums, beginning at 10:00 EST/9:00 Central at http://www.letstalkbigfoot.com And as always, we encourage you to please tune in and support great research.

Due to some extenuating circumstances which are or my own doing and not anyone else's, I have decided to stop listening live to Squatch Detective Radio on Monday nights. I will catch the archives, but because of some issues of my own doing and NOT of Steve Kulls or Billy Willard, I have made this decision. Steve and Billy are great, and are not to blame for any of this. I wish them well and hope that maybe one day we will reconcile things in person.
